Experience

Johannes has experience in scientific work in fluid mechanics and heat transfer (Vienna Technical University: Institute of Thermal Plants and Turbomachinery and Institute of Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer), international experience in industrial engineering (VA TECH, ANDRITZ) as well as experience as owners and consulting enigneer (ILF Consulting Engineers, TECON Engineering GmbH, JBV-INDUREST Engineering GmbH). His main regular occupation Project Manager and Project Managment Office at Trans Austria Gasleitung GmbH.

Johannes is an avocational lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria in Wels. He helds lectures in “International Project Management” for the degree programme Sustainable Energy Systems SES and “Plant- and System Engineering” and “Combined Heat and Power CHP” for the degree programme Applied Energy Engineering.

Education

Johannes has studied industrial engineering and has done the PhD at the Insitute of Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer at the Vienna Technical University. In addition he has successfully completed training courses at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.

Johannes is a certified Senior Process Manager (SPcM), Senior Risk Manager (SRkM) and Project Management Professional (PMP) ® and he is member of the Austrian Economic Chamber. He has the certificate leading an engineering firm (Consulting engineers) for mechanical engineering. He is trained as Trainer in Adults Education and educated as Safety Officer (Sicherheitsfachkraft SFK), Fireguard (Brandschutzwart BSW) and he helds a certificate Safety Certificate Contractors (SCC).

Leisure activities

Johannes likes bicycle racing and cyclocross, he is a member of the Free Eagle Fun Racing Team and the Austrian Alpine Club and a former member of the swimming club ASV and the football club Union Steinhaus. He played soccer, badminton and tennis and he has finished the Vienna City Marathon four times. He is playing the drums, reading popular scientific literature and he is a member of the Team Austria. During travelling he is interested in architecture and fotography. He is married and has one daughter.
